Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 01/01/2026
1. Introduction
Sigtrad ("Sigtrad", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Sigtrad mobile app and website (the "Platform"). By using Sigtrad, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account data
When you create an account or contact us, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Password or authentication data
- Basic profile details (for example, display name or country, if provided)
2.2 Usage, device, and log data
When you use Sigtrad, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP
- Device information (such as device type, operating system, app version)
- In‑app events and usage data (for example, screens viewed, buttons clicked, predictions created or viewed), including via analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Basic server logs (for example, timestamps, request URLs, error logs) used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting
2.3 Content you provide
We collect the content you submit on the Platform, such as:
- Predictions and related parameters (e.g., symbol, direction, price bands, time windows)
- Public profile information you choose to share as a predictor
- Messages or support requests you send to us
2.4 Future KYC data (monetised predictors only)
If, in the future, Sigtrad enables monetisation for predictors and you apply to monetise your predictions, a third‑party KYC provider may collect and process identity data such as:
- Government‑issued ID
- Selfie or biometric image
- Sanctions/PEP check results and related risk flags
In that design, the KYC provider will handle the raw ID and selfie data. Sigtrad expects to receive a verification status/result and any necessary risk flags, not the full raw identity documents.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account and provide access to the Platform
- To allow you to publish, view, and analyse predictions and performance metrics
- To communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support
- To improve and develop the Platform, including via GA4 and other event data (for example, understanding usage patterns, fixing bugs, and improving features)
- To prevent abuse and maintain the integrity of the Platform (for example, detecting spam, fraud, or attempts to manipulate predictions or performance metrics)
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
4. No Execution, Custody, or Personalised Advice
Sigtrad does not:
- Execute or route trades
- Hold, transfer, or custody user funds or crypto assets
- Provide personalised investment, financial, tax, or legal advice
The Platform provides user‑generated predictions and system‑generated performance metrics for informational and educational purposes only. Your trading and investment decisions are your own responsibility.
5. Legal Bases (where applicable)
Where data protection laws require a legal basis (for example, in some jurisdictions), we process your information based on:
- Performance of a contract: to provide and operate your Sigtrad account
- Legitimate interests: to improve the service, maintain security, prevent abuse, and understand usage.
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- Consent: where explicitly required (for example, certain marketing communications, or specific optional features).
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following limited situations:
6.1 Service providers and partners
We may share data with trusted third‑party service providers that help us operate the Platform, such as:
- Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics 4)
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Future KYC/verification providers for monetised predictors
These providers may act as processors on our behalf, and in some cases as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. Where practical, we will link to their privacy policies so you can understand how they handle data.
6.2 Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Sigtrad, our users, or others
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
6.3 Business transfers
If Sigtrad is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection consistent with this Policy.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to:
- Provide and maintain your account and the Platform
- Comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations
- Enforce our rights and resolve disputes
Standard technical logs used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting (for example, server logs) are typically retained for up to 60 days, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to investigate specific issues.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Sigtrad and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Remember your preferences and settings
- Help you stay logged in
- Understand how you use the Platform
You can control or disable cookies through your browser or device settings, but some features of the Platform may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
9. International Data Transfers
Sigtrad may use infrastructure and service providers located outside your country, including outside India. As a result, your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction. Where required, we will take appropriate steps to help ensure that your data remains protected in line with this Policy.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction and local laws, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: request that we correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations and legitimate interests (for example, security logs)
- Objection and restriction: object to or request restriction of certain processing
- Data portability: request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible
You can also:
- Update certain account details directly in the app

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.
11. Children
Sigtrad is intended for users who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you through the app, website, or email. Your continued use of Sigtrad after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
